What do toothpaste, coffee, a Backstreet Boys’ song, and pillows have in common? Any guesses? Until two weeks ago I would have answered, “Nothing.” They just se
em like a list of random objects you might find in a house. They are really ministry tools.
I have spent the last two Wednesday nights at an event called Big Coffee. Each night a group of college students lead by some pretty cool college students meet for a time of fun and devotion. I’ll admit I was a little overwhelmed the first time I visited the event. I was not expecting pillow jousting or a Backstreet Boys’ cover band. What I discovered was a group of students who deeply love God and know the value of fun.
I’ve gone away from each experience I’ve had with these college students feeling renewed and a refreshed calling to ministry. My time at Big Coffee seems to energize me. Who would have thought that a group of college students, toothpaste, a Backstreet Boys’ song, and pillows would be the tools God used to refresh me? Isn’t God amazing!

Re: Big Coffee
Felicia, great that you actually love being with the students! I'm sure they realize that.
