Sunday night I saw a picture of heaven on earth. My vision came in the form of a bunch of teenagers jumping around on bean bags, singing Journey songs loudly, and simply enjoying being together.
The teens were from a verity of different churches and denominations. However, there they were at a Christian event not worried about their differences. They were enjoying being in a group where they could be themselves and be accepted. I saw them let their guards down and just be happy together. I hope heaven will be that type of place.
I hope that in heaven we will be able to overcome all the labels we place on ourselves and others. I hope that we can finally form a community of faith that is more concerned with loving God and each other instead of who is getting the credit for it. Doesn’t that sound like heaven? It does to me.
