Nursery

Childcare is available for children ages 4 and under during our worship services and most other activities.

Missions

Ages 3-4 and K-5

• Meets 2nd and 4th Wednesday night
• Mission education materials are CBF Global Missions curriculum
• First Baptist is also an Encouraging Church for Cokie and Jay Westfall, CBF missionaries to India
• Seasonal mission projects - The children's bake sale was a huge success.  The children were able to raise enough money to provide a sewing machine and training for a woman in India.  They also raised money to provide beads and thread for a woman in Jordan.  With these items both women will be able to earn money to provide for their families.
• The children were able to collect enough change to buy a water buffalo and four flocks of chickens for families from Heifer International.  Thanks everyone who gave to this cause.

Music

Children's Choir

Rehearsals are on the  1st and 3rd Wednesday nights (September through May)

The children's choir will be taking part in worship services during the Advent Season.  They will also be singing during the Christmas Eve service and during the Children's Christmas Celebration.

During the holiday season, the Children's Choir may practice more frequently to prepare for special programs.

Acolyte

Children and youth help bring the light of Christ's spirit into the worship service through the lighting of candles.
