Spiritual Gifts Inventory
ACIA/Benevolence Team - coordinates volunteers to assist with the Thrift Store ministry, food pantry, and local benevolence needs.
Audio-Visual Team - organizes schedule for assisting in the operation of all audio and visual equiptment.
Baptism Team - assists the pastor when baptisms are scheduled, need male and female assistants.
Bereavement Team - prepares and serves meals for families in the event of a death.
Casserole Team - provides meals to those with special needs, during sickness, or after hospital stays.
Children's ministry Team - coordinates and plans ministries to children ages pre-school - grade five in conjunction with ministterial staff.
Christian Education Team - works with Christian Education Director and staff to plan and coordinate opportunities for spiritual formation and discipleship.
Communion/Lord's Supper Team - coordinates a schedule and prepares communion bread and juice cups first Sunday of the second month quarterly and on Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve; cleans up communion trays and places back in alter closet; orders communion supplies as needed through church office.
Community Relations Team - promotes the church and its ministries to the greater Mt. Olive community including the FBCMO website in conjuction with ministerial staff.
Fellowship Team - arranges and coordinates church-wide social, fellowshio, and recreational activities.
Habitat for Humanity Team - coordinate volunteers, communicates to the church reguarding needs, and serves a liaison with the work of Habitat.
Helping Hands Team - provides minor home repair, maintenance, and handicap ramps for those in need.
Hospitality Team - develops plans for cultivating an atmosphere of hospital in the worship services, among visitors and new memebers; set up usher and greeter schedule for Sundays.
Kitchen Team - is responsible for the upkeep and operation of the church kitchen.
Media Library Team - coordinates and overseas churhc library resources.
Mount Olive College Outreach Team - launch an intentional outreach ministry to MOC students, facutly and staff utilizing creative methods for publicity and involving students in the life of FBCMO.
Nursery Team - coordinates and schedules nursery volunteers and workers for all worship services and church activities for all ages.
Prayer Team - undergirds and wiht intentional prayer all ministries of the church as well as those with special needs and prayer requests.
Senior Adult team - coordinates and plans all senior adult activities including JOY Group.
Special Needs Team - create a ministry to special needs children and adults. Includes, but is not limited to, extended care during the Sunday worship service.
Christian Education Team - accesses the needs and provides programming for Christian spiritual formation (including Sunday School and Bible study groups of all ages) in conjuction with ministerial staff. (Team Captian: CE Director)
Spoken Word Ministry Team - assists in volunteer work for needs of the Spoken Word ministry to the blind.
Vation Bible School Team - coordinates VBS for children in the summer.
Wedding Hostess - oversee the coordination of facilities and policies for church weddings.
Worship Team - works with the ministerial staff to coordinate a meaningful church calendar of worship including flower schedule, acolyte schedule, Advent, Lent, and Easter.
Youth Ministry Team - coordinates and plans ministires to youth ages 6th grade to 12th grade in conjunction with minsterial staff.
