We have a lot coming up here at First Baptist of Mount Olive for our youth. 

 February 13 

The youth will be hosting a Valentine’s Banquet February 13 in the CLC Fellowship Hall. Reservations will be taken for 5:00, 5:45 and 6:30. The price is $8 per person or $15 per couple. This includes salad, choice of entrée and choice of dessert. Entrée choices are beef tips with baked potato, chicken parmigiana or vegetarian spaghetti. Youth will serve as wait staff and provide entertainment. You may buy tickets from any youth or in the chapel before and after the worship service. All proceeds will go towards the youth summer trips.

March 26 

Youth Lock-in: The event will go from 9:00pm until 7:00 am. Sign up by March 14.

April 17

Rock the Town Concert: The youth will attend the concert held at Mount Olive College.

April 24 

Pickle Parking Fundraiser: The youth will again be raising money for the summer trips. Only youth who help will be able to use the money for the summer trips.

May 22 

Operation Inasmuch: Youth attending the mission trip this summer are required to help with Operation Inasmuch.

June 13 – 18 

Passport Summer Camp: The youth will be attending Passport Summer Camp at Wingate University. The total cost for the trip is $328. Youth attending will be asked to pay $110 of the cost, raise $109 of the cost, and $109 will be taken out of the youth fund. If a youth signs up for camp and then backs out they will be responsible to pay the total cost of the camp ($328). Sign up and payment due by April 4.

July 18 – 24 

Asheville, NC Mission Trip: The youth will be spending a week in Asheville, NC doing mission work. Missions include painting and soup kitchen ministry. We will see poverty in an urban setting on this trip. The total cost for the trip is $300. Youth will be asked the pay $100, raise $100, and $100 will be taken from the youth fund. If a youth signs up and does not go they will be responsible to pay the total cost of the camp ($300).  Please sign up with Felicia by February 7 if you are interested in going. A $50 deposit is due by the end of February. 

 
Youth Special Event Policies:
1) If you sign up for an event you are responsible for the entire cost of the event even if you back out later.
2) Youth must sign up and have money turned in on time to attend an event.
