Message from the Pastor

Welcome to the website of First Baptist Church of Mount Olive! I hope this site gives you a glimpse of who we are, what we are doing, and where we are going. We would love for your virtual experience here to result in a personal experience with us as we seek to know, worship, and serve the Triune God.

First Baptist Church is a diverse congregation of Christians from various backgrounds who share a common faith and mission in life. We are a people on a journey with Jesus Christ, and one another, in the midst of a constantly changing world. Here we are more than a group of individuals—we are a community of faith.

First Baptist Church is a place where you can encounter God through genuine worship, serious study of the scriptures, and the caring fellowship of other believers. Ultimately our love for God must result in love for our neighbor. This is why the church exists—to be the Body of Christ in the world.
